Wanillaberry's Food Diary!




Hello! This is a probably sporadic log of food and drink I enjoyed (or didn't if it's particularly awful) whenever I remember/it seems interesting, because I figure what a person consumes physically says as much about them as their music or TV habits (aka I saw Sylvia Plath's food diary on Twitter was inspired, it's such an integral part of everyone's life why would I not document it? Obligatory "yeah I know she's problematic" disclaimer but like... she is also dead so) That and I want a place to post my useless matcha pictures. Probably repetitive and boring because I'm broke and a picky eater even when it is worth posting about but this is for MY sake so idc!!!

15:?? - Took a sip from a can of soda I forgot to finish last night because the slight fizzing caught my attention. Tastes fine but I probably oughtn't drink it since it's been sitting uncovered for over 12 hours.


15:24 - A smoothie. Banana, maple syrup, frozen spinach with frozen berries and cherries. I've been feeling awfully sluggish lately, so I'm trying to eat better again. Usually I put cacao powder in this to make it taste like black forest gateau (my favourite!) but I'm all out. It still tastes good though, and the colour is much prettier without. Almost identical to this page background. The bananas I have are pretty big so they overpower anything else. When I run out, I'm going to see if I can find those tiny "snack-sized" ones at the supermarket.


17:37 - A baked potato. I love potatoes, more than even a Tumblr user with a Pusheen profile picture in 2012. I could live off potatoes for the rest of my life. When I was a kid, I ate so many potatoes that my uncle would refuse to call me by my name and just call me “Aloo” instead.
